Organised by Rob Rowe, the Alvis Owner’s Club PR Officer, three very special Alvii
got together at the newly opened Bicester Heritage centre to be photographed for
a forthcoming article on the history of the Alvis Company’s involvement in motor
racing in the 1920s. Unusually for the end of a British summer the sun shone, allowing
all three cars to be seen in their best light against the wonderfully patinated backdrop
of the old RAF hangars and airfield. A small selection of the photographs taken appear
here and more will be added in time.
